An Introduction into Lurking Dragon’s World… Err… Universe

Perhaps one of the least-written about, but most wonderful settings for spanking stories was created by the author known simply as Lurking Dragon. LD’s setting was one of science fiction, from about the year 2300 on. His stories can still be found at Laura’s Spanking Corner, and a site he started still partially remains. I (Christy) have the link to this site if anyone is interested; it contains other authors’ works in the universe as well.

What he did was make it so that the entire Earth was unified under one government, and one language: Panglish. There were also other solar systems involved, one of which hosted a race known as Drakonians. These dinosaur-like creatures could speak, but only in their language. Both humans and Draks could understand the other’s language fluently. The most important part about this species, however, was a new technology they brought to Earth: rejuvenation.

What is Rejuvenation?

They found that by using Johnston’s crystals, they could turn any being into a child again. There were a few shortcomings; you could rejuve to no age older than twelve, and each rejuve cost you a minimum of three years to your physical age.

All memories of things you had done remained, but a “nano-web” was implanted in the person’s brain to make them react as a child. Each child had a letter engraved on their hands to identify their status within the society. K = kindern (actual children who had never rejuved), V = voluntaras (those who had wanted to rejuve), M = medicalos (those who had to be rejuved for medical reasons)... etc.

Judicial Rejuvenation.

What does this have to do with spanking? Simply, instead of being locked up, a criminal would be rejuved and turned into Penitata child, or penny. These children were put into homes with “spanko” foster parents who would rear them on both earned and unearned spankings almost daily, and harsh ones to normal society’s standards. Upon reaching the age of 12 they would be rejuved again, for another cycle. How many cycles they’d be sentenced to depended on the individual case. Some terms lasted decades.

For the offenders who were on the first third of their sentence, or in other special cases, daily spankings were hardly the worst. They had to go through several “special punishment days.” These days were always on holidays like Christmas, Easter, birthdays, etc, and each would have horrific punishments. All spanks would be full-force, with implements, and would leave the penny bruised and blistered.

Kinds of Pennies.

There were different kinds of pennies. Hard timers were in their first third of their sentence, getting spankings for no reason, with special punishment days, and had filled-in P’s on their hands. Soft-timers had slightly lessened sentences (for example no unearned spankings), were usually in the last 2/3 of their time, and were geared toward rehabilitation. They had un-filled-in Ps on their hands. In REALLY rare cases there would be something worse than a hard-timer, with a black circle around the P. If it were a male, they were genetically altered during rejuvenation to be female.

Two other rare cases were for slightly lessened cycles: there was the JP, or Juvenala Penitata, that was a young kindern who committed a crime and had to have a governess come live with them to mete out discipline, and the KP, or Kindern-Penitata.

This is actually my own creation. It is for kindern that were only a few years away from adulthood. They don’t become hard-timers, and therefore have fewer or no unearned spankings and special punishment days. They did have to go live with new “parents” and were still subject to severe punishment. And two rules were always true: 1) If you were a penny, your word could not be taken to be true over anyone who held higher “rank” than you, and 2) If you’re a penny, you do NOT want to get in trouble again, especially while a penny! That would wind you back in court most likely getting a blistered bottom and worse sentence.

Nano-lotion.

The good news was another invention called nano-lotion. This stuff, upon being rubbed in and actually activated by the adult, would immediately start to heal damaged skin (aka bottoms). This proved to be exceptionally useful especially by parents of pennies, who’d receive thorough spankings almost daily and had thus to be healed quickly.

Conclusion.

Of course there are lots of other details and inventions, but at least for our new series, Gracie Mae, we’ll explain those things as we go along to the best of our ability.
